Pakistan Beat India By 180 Runs
The Ind-Pak match held on 18th June was a match worth teaching India their fields of weaknesses.
When India began its chase for 339 runs and wickets started to tumble with 54/5, the team was left tottered. India’s semi-final against Bangladesh was flawless.
During its final match, India had their chances in the opening hour but once Pakistan had hit the ground there was no stopping to them.
Indian team was never in the game. They were dominated by Pakistan in their innings. Rohit Sharma was dismissed in the very first over. He was followed by Virat Kohli. Shikhar Dhawan walked back after making 21 runs.
Hardik would have given some hopes to India fans but his wicket effectively ended the challenge.
The 180-Run win in Champions final was the biggest victory margin in any ICC ODI Tournament. After the momentous victory Sarfraz Ahmed said “The tournament isn’t over yet. It was an important boost for us. When we arrived here, we played like we have nothing to lose.”
India got carried away and was over confident. Pre-celebrations led to failure. However India learned a lot of lessons….it taught them never to treat their opponent as weak. M S Dhoni gave a speech explaining the teams’ mistakes. India will surely improve and do well….Cheers for India.
